OSH ACT of 1970 Section (5)(a)(1): Public Law 91-596, the Occupational Safety and Health Act of 1970, Section 5(a)(1): The employer did not furnish to each of his employees employment and a place of employment which were free from recognized hazards that were causing or are likely to cause death or serious physical harm to his employees, in that employees were exposed to a struck-by hazards. a) Planer Mill - On or about March 4, 2020 employees working or walking in in the planer mill yard were exposed to struck-by hazards where equipment such as, but not limited to, forklifts were being operated.
