29 CFR 1926.1053(b)(8): Ladders placed in a location where they could be displaced by workplace activities or traffic, such as in passageways, doorways, or driveways, were not secured to prevent accidental displacement, nor was a barricade used to keep the activities or traffic away from the ladder: On or about August 23, 2019, on the west roof edge of a residential structure under construction located at 11707 SW Brighton Falls Drive in Port Saint Lucie, Florida, employees were exposed to a fall of approximately 10 feet - 6 inches when using a ladder to gain access to and from a roof, set up in front of a garage door on an active construction site while it was not secured to prevent accidental displacement.
