29 CFR 1926.416(a)(1): Employees were permitted to work in proximity to electric power circuits and were not protected against electric shock by de-energizing and grounding the circuits or effectively guarding the circuits by insulation or other means: The employer is failing to prevent employee exposure to contact with electricity. The condition was most recently observed on or about August 13, 2019, at 225 Ladue Lake, Creve Coeur, Missouri. The employer did not ensure that employee(s) who were required to move an electrical wire used to power a GFCI-protected outlet to the rear wall as part of a bathroom remodel, had de-energized the electrical panel prior to beginning work. An employee suffered fatal injuries as a result of this condition.
