29 CFR 1910.119(g)(3): The employer did not ascertain that each employee involved in operating a process had received and understood the training required by this paragraph and the employer did not prepare a record which contained the identity of the employee, the date of training, and the means used to verify that the employee understood the training. a) Pellet Area - On or about 03/14/19 and at times prior thereto employees assigned to conduct production operations, equipment setup, and cleaning for PSM-covered processes. The employer did not ensure that employees received the necessary training, and the employer did not prepare a record identifying the employee, the date of the training, and the means used to verify that the employees understood the training. Pyrotechnic Specialties, Inc. was previously cited for a violation of this occupational safety and health standard or its equivalent standard 29 CFR 1910.119(g)(3), which was contained in OSHA inspection number 1154931, citation number 1, item number 3 and was affirmed as a final order on 10/26/16, with respect to a workplace located at 1661 Juniper Creek Road, Byron, GA 31008. In accordance with 29 CFR 1903.19(d), abatement certification is required for this violation (using the CERTIFICATION OF CORRECTIVE ACTION WORKSHEET), and in addition, documentation demonstrating that abatement is complete must be included with your certification. This documentation may include, but is not limited to, evidence of the purchase or repair of the equipment, photographic or video evidence of abatement, or other written records.
