29 CFR 1926.1053(b)(1): Where portable ladders were used for access to an upper landing surface and the ladder's length allows, the ladder side rails did not extend at least 3 feet (.9 m) above the upper landing surface being accessed: (a) For employees working at 18928 Willowmore Cedar Drive, Lutz, FL, as observed on or about February 7, 2019. Employees were exposed to an over 18 foot fall hazard to the ground, in that, the extension ladder did not extend 3 feet above the roof edge. Brad McDonald Roofing and Construction, Inc. was previously cited for a violation of this occupational safety and health standard or its equivalent standard 29 CFR 1926.1053(b)(1), which was contained in OSHA inspection number 1207554, citation number 1, item number 1 and was affirmed as a final order on May 30, 2017, with respect to a workplace located at 3965 Aldea Way, Wesley Chapel, Florida.
