29 CFR 1910.305(b)(1)(ii): Unused openings in boxes, cabinets, or fittings were not effectively closed: a) On or about 01-18-2019 and times prior thereto, located at FCC Petersburgh, Federal Bureau of Prisons at 1060 River Road Hopewell, VA 23803, at the Unicor Camp Hangar Operation. Condition: Employee(s) were exposed to electrical and fire hazards from unused knock-out openings found within metal junction boxes containing energized 110VAC electrical receptacles. Located in the warehouse area of the hanger camp. Abatement certification required within 10 days after abatement date. The certification shall include a statement that abatement is complete, date and method of abatement, and states employee(s) and their representatives were informed of this abatement.
