29 CFR 1926.1060(a)(1)(iv): The employer did not ensure that each employee using ladders and/or stairways had been trained by a competent person in the maximum intended load carrying capacities of the ladders and/or stairways used: a) On or about January 18, 2019 - 744 County Road 87, Calera, AL, employees were exposed to fall and struck-by hazards when employees had not received effective ladder training for elements such as, but not limited to, understanding how to insure that the ladder weight limit had not been exceeded and understanding that the back side of a standard a-frame ladder was not designed to support the same weight as the front side.
