29 CFR 1910.269(q)(1)(iii): When a pole is set, moved, or removed near an exposed energized overhead conductor, the employer did not ensure that each employee wears electrical protective equipment or uses insulated devices when handling the pole and that no employee contacts the pole with uninsulated parts of his or her body. On or about November 27, 2018, at a worksite located on St. Augustine Street, Dallas, Texas, employees working on replacing a pole near exposed energized electrical power lines were exposed to electrical shock and burn hazards.
