29 CFR 1910.134(f)(1): The employer shall ensure that employees using a tight-fitting facepiece respirator pass an appropriate qualitative fit test (QLFT) or quantitative fit test (QNFT) as stated in this paragraph. On or about October 25, 2018, at 3665 E Industrial Way, Riviera Beach, FL 33404, the employer did not ensure fit testing was conducted for employees required to wear 3M 6200 Reusable Half Face Mask Respirators in the workplace, while performing spray painting and/or abrasive blasting operations, where the sandblasting operator was exposed to 91 milligrams per cubic meter of Particulates Not Otherwise Regulated (Total Dust), which is 6.057 times the PEL of 15 milligrams per cubic meter.
