Text For Citation: 02 Item/Group: 002 Hazard:
29 CFR 1926.503(a)(1): The employer shall provide a training program for each employee who might be exposed to fall hazards. The program shall enable each employee to recognize the hazards of falling and shall train each employee in the procedures to be followed in order to minimize these hazards: a) Jobsite: Employees working outside of a window engaged in framing activities were not provided fall protection training: thus exposing them to approximately 18 foot fall hazard. Condition was observed on or about 9 AUG 2018. Etna Construction, Inc. was previously cited for a violation of this occupational safety and health standard or its equivalent standard 1926.503(a)(1) which was contained in OSHA inspection number 1147085, citation number 1, item number 2/b and was affirmed as a final order on 9 NOV 2016, with respect to a workplace located at 413-415 Wallace Street, Philadelphia.
