29 CFR 1926.501(b)(13): Each employee engaged in residential construction activities 6 feet (1.8 m) or more above lower levels is not protected by guardrail systems, safety net system, a personal fall arrest system, or an alternative fall protection measure as provided by another provision in paragraph (b) of this section: a. Employees performing roofing work are not protected from fall hazards by the use of a fall protection system. The employer fails to assure effective protections against falls as required by the standard, as demonstrated on May 24, 2018, when a male employee wearing a red hat, blue shirt, and blue jeans, is working on a residential roof with a 5:12 pitch at 1116 Nochaway Drive, Saint Augustine, Florida, and is exposed to a 13 foot fall hazard to the ground in that he is not attached to a personal fall protection system. The employer fails to assure effective protections against falls as required by the standard, as demonstrated on May 24, 2018, when a male employee wearing a straw hat, blue shirt, and blue jeans, is working on a residential roof with a 5:12 pitch at 1116 Nochaway Drive, Saint Augustine, Florida, and is exposed to a fall hazard of 13 feet to the ground in that he is not attached to a personal fall protection system. The employer fails to assure effective protections against falls as required by the standard, as demonstrated on May 24, 2018, when a male employee wearing a green sprite box as a hat, white and maroon shirt, and red pants, is working on a residential roof with a 5:12 pitch at 1116 Nochaway Drive, Saint Augustine, Florida, and exposed to a fall hazard of 13 feet to the ground in that he is not attached to a personal fall protection system. The employer fails to assure effective protections against falls as required by the standard, as demonstrated on May 24, 2018, when a male employee wearing a round dark hat, plaid shirt, and jeans, is working on a residential roof with a 5:12 pitch at 1116 Nochaway Drive, Saint Augustine, Florida, and is exposed to a fall hazard of 13 feet to the ground in that he is not attached to a personal fall protection system.
