29 CFR 1910.243(e)(4)(vi): Hand-operated wheel drive disengaging controls did not move opposite to the direction of vehicle motion in order to disengage the drive. Foot-operated wheel drive disengaging controls were not depressed to disengage the drive. Deadman controls, both hand and foot operated, did not automatically interrupt power to a drive when the operator's actuating force is removed, and may operate in any direction to disengage the drive. a.
