29 CFR 1926.416(a)(1): When the employee was not protected against electric shock by de-energizing the circuit and grounding it or by guarding it effectively by insulation or other means, the employer permitted an employee to work in such proximity to an electric power circuit that the employee could contact the electric power circuit in the course of work: This violation most recently occurred on or about May 8, 2018, and at times prior to; where employees, who were removing tree branches/limbs while installing fiber optic cable near live electrical power lines (14,000 Kv Primary). Employees were exposed to electrical shock hazards while working from bucket trucks.
