29 CFR 1926.960(d)(2): Requirements for working without electrical protective equipment. When an employee performs work near exposed parts energized at more than 600 volts, but not more than 72.5 kilovolts, and is not wearing rubber insulating gloves, being protected by insulating equipment covering the energized parts, performing work using live-line tools, or performing live-line bare hand work under � 1926.964(c), the employee shall not work from a position where he or she can reach into the minimum approach distance, established by the employer under paragraph (c)(1) of this section. a) Eagle Nest Landing Road, Townsend, DE- On or about October 28, 2017, the employer failed to ensure that employees working near energized parts, within the minimum approach distance, wore the proper rubber insulating gloves and sleeves, were protected by insulating equipment, and were using live-line tools.
