29 CFR 1904.29(b)(3): How quickly must each injury or illness be recorded? You must enter each recordable injury or illness on the OSHA 300 Log and 301 Incident Report within seven (7) calendar days of receiving information that a recordable injury or illness has occurred. a. Located at 5300 North Meadows Drive in Grove City, Ohio: On or about July 8, 2017, the employer was notified of an employee that was hospitalized due an injury to the head that occurred at the jobsite a few weeks prior. The employer did not record the injury resulting in days away from work on the OSHA 300 log within seven days of being notified.
