29 CFR 1926.652(b)(2): Maximum allowable slopes, and allowable configurations for sloping and benching systems, was not determined in accordance with the conditions and requirements set forth in Appendices A and B to this subpart: (a) REAR, SIDE AND FRONT YARD - Employees worked in a ten foot deep trench, and the bench that the employer had cut did not meet the requirements of benching or sloping systems for Type B or Type C soil, which thereby exposed employee(s) to possible injuries, on or about August 25, 2017. Abatement certification required within 10 days after abatement date. The certification shall include a statement that abatement is complete, date and method of abatement, and states employees and their representatives were informed of this abatement.
