29 CFR 1910.147(c)(4)(ii): Procedures did not clearly and specifically outline the scope, purpose, authorization, rules, and techniques to be utilized for the control of hazardous energy, and the means to enforce compliance including, but not limited to, 29 CFR 1910.147(c)(4)(ii)(A), (c)(4)(ii)(B), (c)(4)(ii)(C) and (c)(4)(ii)(D): On or about 6/15/2017 at 728 Industrial Drive, Sandersville, GA: The employers written procedure did not address all of the energy sources and their correct location to include but not limited to electrical, pneumatic, hydraulic, and mechanical used by employees performing service and or maintenance on the saw mill equipment. The equipment includes but not limited to: a. Edger Equipment Area b. Gang Saw Equipment Area c. Scragg Saw Equipment Area d. Sorter System Equipment Area The Beasley Forest Products, Inc. was previously cited for a violation of this occupational safety and health standard or its equivalent standard 1910.147(c)(4)(ii), which was contained in OSHA inspection number 966515, citation number 2, item number 1 and was affirmed as a final order on 9/17/2014, with respect to a workplace located at 712 Uvalda Highway, Hazlehurst, GA 31539.
