29 CFR 1910.335(a)(1)(iv): Employees exposed to the danger of head injury from electric shock or burns due to contact with exposed energized parts did not were nonconductive head protection: Western Springs, Illinois - On or about April 17, 2017, a motor service technician was required to troubleshoot the circuit elements and electrical parts of the 2, 300 V AC well pump located at 740 Hillgrove Avenue, Western Springs, IL., Pump House, Well No. 3. The technician worked in an area where there were electrical hazards (2,400 V AC). The technician was not provided with nonconductive head protection. The employee(s) was thereby exposed to the hazards associated with live electrical parts.
