29 CFR 1910.134(e)(1): The employer did not provide a medical evaluation to determine the employee's ability to use a respirator, before the employee was fit tested or required to use the respirator in the workplace: a) Painting department The employer did not provide a medical evaluation for a spray painter required to wear a full face air purifying respirator with combination cartridges while spray painting pieces. Paint products included, but were not limited to International Tru-glaze 4508H epoxy (ethylbenzene, methyl isobutyl ketone, xylene) and Research Solutions lacquer thinner (toluene, xylene, methanol, butyl acetate, acetone). Violation occurred on or about 4/4/17.
