29 CFR 1910.157(c)(1): Portable fire extinguishers were not mounted, located and identified so that they were readily accessible without subjecting the employees to injuries: a. 630 Sullivan Road, Elizabeth, NJ - adjacent to UNL1 stanchion below RO3-1 The employer did not ensure that portable fire extinguishers were mounted and identified with signs indicating the location of the extinguishers to the employees. An unmounted extinguisher was left unsecured on the floor in the aisle way. Violation observed on or about March 16, 2017 b. 6 30Sullivan Road, Elizabeth, NJ - East wall - Between Problem Solve Station and Door 60 The employer did not ensure that portable fire extinguishers were mounted where identified by the posited signs. Employees unmounted a fire extinguisher from the wall and laid it on its side on a mobile rack. Violation observed on or about May 19, 2017
