29 CFR 1910.1200(h)(1): Employees were not provided effective information and training on hazardous chemicals in their work area at the time of their initial assignment and whenever a new hazard that the employees had not been previously trained about was introduced into their work area: (Construction Reference: 1926.59): a. On or about December 18, 2015, at the job site, the employer had not provided information and training to employees working with hazardous chemicals, including, but not limited the following: 1. Plastic roofing cement, a material containing asphalt, a known carcinogen, naphtha, mineral spirits, and acetates 2. Gasoline, a liquid mixture of toxic organic compounds such as benzene, toluene, xylene, and ethyl-benzene.
