29 CFR 1910.1200(h)(1): Employees were not provided information and training on hazardous chemicals in their work area at the time of their initial assignment and whenever a new hazard was introduced into their work area. a) Paint area: Employees were not trained on the hazards associated with the chemicals they worked with, such as but not limited to TCI Powder Coating paint, on or about 6/9/15. b) Wash Tank Area: Employees were not trained on the hazards associated with the chemicals they worked with, such as but not limited to GF ADJUST 213 (Corrosive, containing 45-50% Sodium Hydroxide) and GF PHOS 426 (Corrosive contains 1-5% Phospohoric Acid, corrosives, on or about 6/9/15. United Hospital Supply Corporation was previously cited for a violation of this Occupational Safety and Health Standard or its equivalent standard, which was contained in OSHA Inspection Number 314581422, Citation Number 1, Item Number 22 and was affirmed as a final order on 11/24/2010, with respect to a workplace located at 4422 Route 130 South, Burlington NJ 08016. NOTE: IN ADDITION TO ABATEMENT CERTIFICATION, THE EMPLOYER IS REQUIRED TO SUBMIT ABATEMENT DOCUMENTATION FOR THIS ITEM. FAILURE TO COMPLY WILL RESULT IN AN ADDITIONAL PENALTY OF $1000.00 IN ACCORDANCE WITH 29 CFR 1903.19.
