29 CFR 1910.176(b): Material stored in tiers was not stacked, blocked, interlocked or limited in height so that it was stable and secure against sliding and collapse: Storeroom: The employer did not ensure through visual observations, frequent inspections and specific instructions that the "boxes" in various sizes, stored in tiers on the floor and carts, and containing different merchandises were properly stacked, interlocked and/or limited in heights so that they were stable and secured from sliding and/or collapsing, and also creating entrapment and fire hazards. Family Dollar Stores of Connecticut, Inc. was previously cited for a violation of this Occupational Safety and Health standard, 29 CFR 1910.176(b) which was contained in OSHA Inspection Number 123192536, Citation Number 01, Item Number 004, and was affirmed as a final order on 4/06/2011, with respect to a workplace located at 238 Captain Thomas Blvd, West Haven Connecticut.
