29 CFR 1910.147(c)(4)(i): Procedures were not developed, documented and utilized for the control of potentially hazardous energy when employees were engaged in activities covered by this section: a) Production Floor; On or about April 14, 2015 and at times prior thereto the employer exposed his employees to potential hazardous energies in that employees were allowed to work on the #304 Injection Mold Machine which has multiple energy sources such as electric, water, and air without those employees having a written machine specific lock out procedure to ensure that those energy sources were controlled while the employees were performing maintenance or servicing on the machine. INZI Controls Alabama, Inc. was previously cited for a violation of this occupational safety and health standard or its equivalent standard 29 CFR 1910.147(c)(4)(i), which was contained in OSHA inspection number 998809, citation number 1, item number 2a and was affirmed as a final order on December 10, 2014, with respect to a workplace located at 375 Hwy 203, Elba, AL 36323.
