29 CFR 1910.217(c)(2)(i)(d): Point of operation guard(s) on mechanical power press(es) did not utilized fasteners not readily removable by the operator, so as to create minimize the possibility of misuse or removal of essential parts: The following mechanical power presses had sections of the barrier guards that were not fixed closed using fasteners that were not readily removable. Shot Tower/Swager Area: A. The full revolution mechanical power press #20 had an upper door measuring 13 and three-quarter inches wide by 14 inches tall and a lower door measuring 14 inches wide by 23 inches tall and was secured by latches. B. The full revolution mechanical power press #21, the front section of the barrier guard was hinged and secured closed by a latch. C. The full revolution mechanical power press #16 had two hinged barrier guard sections that were secured closed by a latch at the top. D. The part revolution V&O mechanical power press #11 had a hinged barrier guard that was secured closed by a latch at the top. E. The part revolution mechanical power press #4 had a hinged barrier guard that was secured closed by a latch. F.
