29 CFR 1910.305(g)(1)(iv)(A): Flexible cords and/or cables were used as a substitute for the fixed wiring of a structure: A. Steel Shot Area: On, or about, October 24, 2014, an extension cord was used to energize a work bench mounted light fixture. B. Blue Line: On, or about, October 24, 2014, an extension cord was used to energize a light fixture at Ex-cell-o VTL 1736. C. Broach Cutting Insert Storage Area: On, or about, October 24, 2014, a reel-type extension cord was used to energize a power tap that in turn energized a light fixture. The reel assembly and the cord were lying on the floor and was run under work carts. D. Broach, Detroit Broach machine 2871: On, or about, November 14, 2014, an extension cord assembly that included a knockout box designed for permanent mounting was run under a floor mat and was used to energize an engraving pen. E. Shipping: On, or about, November 14, 2014, a yellow extension cord was used to energize an Ace power strip that in turn energized a fan and a sealing machine.
