29 CFR 1910.134(f)(1): The employer did not ensure that employee(s) required to use a tight-fitting facepiece respirator passed the appropriate qualitative fit test (QLFT) or quantitative fit test (QNFT): (Construction Reference 1926.103) a. On or about July 16, 2018, in the jobsite at Villages of Seloy water and sewer main pipes installation project, the employer failed to ensure that the employees required to use a respirator were fit tested for the make model type and size respirator the employee will use as protection from airborne crystalline Silica dust exposure while using a handheld STIHL TS420 or TS700 gasoline powered concrete saw, where to cut concrete pipes where the engineering controls and work practices, such as integrated water delivery or commercially available shroud and dust collection system were not implemented.
