29 CFR 1910.217(c)(2)(i)(a): Point of operation guard(s) on mechanical power press(es) did not prevent entry of hands or fingers into the point of operation by reaching through, over, under or around the guard(s): Employees were exposed to caught by hazards where the point of operation was not guarded on mechanical power presses including but not limited to: a. On or about 5/22/2018, at the estate window department of CGI Windows and Doors Inc., 3780 West 104th St, Hialeah, FL. An employee was exposed to a caught by hazard while working with a mechanical punch press (i.e. Rouselle Model No. 2, Serial No. 24068) whose guard did not cover entirely the area above and into the point of operation. b. On or about 5/22/2018, at the estate window department of CGI Windows and Doors Inc., 3780 West 104th St, Hialeah, FL. An employee was exposed to a caught by hazard while working with a mechanical punch press (Rouselle, Model No.3, Serial No. not available) whose guard did not cover the area above and around the point of operation. c. On or about 5/22/2018, at the estate window department of CGI Windows and Doors Inc., 3780 West 104th St, Hialeah, FL. An employee was exposed to a caught by hazard while working with a mechanical punch press (LOSHBOUGH Jordan, Serial No. not available) whose guard did not cover entirely the area above, around and into the point of operation.
