29 CFR 1910.119(j)(4)(i): The employer did not perform inspection and tests on process equipment: a) Ammonia refrigeration system: The employer did not perform a corrosion under insulation (CUI) inspection on the low side suction pipe on pump package recirculator PPR-400 prior to replacing the damaged vapor barrier, on or about 4/10/19. b) Ammonia refrigeration system: The employer did not perform a corrosion under insulation (CUI) inspection on the vessel and low pressure liquid line on pump package recirculator PPR-400 when damage to the vapor barrier was visible, on or about 4/10/19. NOTE: IN ADDITION TO ABATEMENT CERTIFICATION, THE EMPLOYER IS REQUIRED TO SUBMIT ABATEMENT DOCUMENTATION FOR THIS ITEM. FAILURE TO COMPLY WILL RESULT IN AN ADDITIONAL PENALTY OF $1000.00 IN ACCORDANCE WITH 29 CFR 1903.19. Rich Products Corporation was previously cited for a violation of this occupational safety and health standard or its equivalent standard 29 CFR 1910.119(j)(2), which was contained in OSHA inspection number 1081533, citation number 1, item number 6a and was affirmed as a final order on 3/8/16, with respect to a workplace located at 3555 East 14th Brownsville, TX 78521.
