29 CFR 1910.28(b)(1)(i): The employer did not ensure that each employee on a walking-working surface with an unprotected side or edge that was 4 feet (1.2 m) or more above a lower level was protected from falling by one or more of the following: Guardrail systems, safety net systems, or personal fall arrest systems: Plant: The employer did not ensure through providing and/or installing appropriate fall protection devices and/or systems, or utilizing other safe means that the employees required to perform tasks, such as (but not limited to) set-ups, maintenance, and repairs from the top of equipment, such as (but not limited to) the Lyle 152 PV trim press were protected from the hazard of falling approximately 6 feet 3 inches to the concrete floor and/or onto the machine. Inline Plastics Corp was previously cited for a violation of this Occupational Safety and Health Standard, 29 CFR 1910.28(b)(1)(i) which was contained in OSHA Inspection Number 1219502, Citation Number 1, Item Number 1, and was affirmed as a final order on September 21, 2017, with respect to a workplace located at 100 Constitution Drive, McDonough, GA 30253.
