29 CFR 1926.501(b)(13): Each employee engaged in residential construction activities 6 feet (1.8 m) or more above lower levels was not protected by guardrail systems, safety net systems, personal fall arrest systems, or an alternative fall protection measure under another provision of paragraph 1926.501 (b), nor did the employer demonstrate that it is infeasible or creates a greater hazard to use these systems and develop and implement a fall protection plan which meets the requirements of paragraph (k) of section 1926.502: a) At 4328 Hawkins Ridge Road in Saint Louis, MO 63129 - On or about 05/05/2015, employees were standing on a newly constructed porch roof (approximately 5-in-12 pitch; 12 feet above a lower solid earth/concrete surface) while installing trim around the second-story windows, and did not have any fall protection system in place, exposing employees to elevated fall hazards. CHELTENHAM CONSTRUCTION SERVICES, INC. WAS PREVIOUSLY CITED FOR A VIOLATION OF THIS OCCUPATIONAL SAFETY AND HEALTH STANDARD OR ITS EQUIVALENT STANDARD (1926.501(b)(13)), WHICH WAS CONTAINED IN OSHA INSPECTION NUMBER 902001, CITATION NUMBER 1, ITEM NUMBER 2 GROUP B AND WAS AFFIRMED AS A FINAL ORDER ON 04/11/2014, WITH RESPECT TO A WORKPLACE LOCATED AT 8432 DELCREST DRIVE, SAINT LOUIS, MO 63124.
