29 CFR 1926.251(c)(9): Slings were not padded or protected from sharp edges: -On or about October 24, 2014 and prior to that time employees were working from powered single-point and powered two-point adjustable suspension scaffolds on which the adjustable suspension scaffolds support suspension lines were directly attached to the water tower catwalk angle steel top rail guardrail system with a wire rope sling, which was not protected or softened from abrasion of the steel angle top rail edge which affected the wire rope slings integrity exposing employees to fall potentials in excess of 90.
