Labor and Employment Article, Section 5-104(a): The employer did not furnish employment and a place of employment which were free from recognized hazards that were causing or likely to cause death or serious physical harm to employees: (a)Date of Violation:03/23/11 Location:Shipping Dock Equipment:Yale Forklift, Model #FFP03TFN36SE078 Condition:A battery powered forklift was not equipped with a seatbelt. Among other methods, one feasible and acceptable method to correct this hazard: install and utilize a restraint system in accordance with the current version of American National Standards Institute (ANSI) B56.1-2009, "Safety Standard for Powered Industrial Trucks", and American Society of Mechanical Engineers (ASME) B56.1- 2000, "Safety Standard for Low Lift and High Lift Trucks". Abatement documentation (photographs, receipts, copies of programs, training certification, etc.) is required for this item.red
