29 CFR 1910.215(a)(4): Work rest(s) on grinding machinery were not adjusted closely to the wheel with a maximum opening of one eighth inch: a) Main Shop, 231 York Lane, Export, Pennsylvania, 15632: Observed on or about September 05, 2012, the opening between the work rest and the abrasive wheel on an eight inch bench grinder was approximately 3/4 of an inch. Employees using the machine to grind metal parts were exposed to caught-by hazards.
