29 CFR 1926.405(g)(2)(iv): Flexible cords were not connected to devices and fittings so that strain relief is provided which will prevent pull from being directly transmitted to joints or terminal screws; a) The welding machine fuse box had electric wires entering with no wire connection fittings; the wire connections can pull loose causing a short circuit or loss of electric ground protection. Employees were exposed to electric shock hazard; 110 v. Location: 519 8th Ave, New York, N.Y. On or about 2/27/2017 NOTE: BECAUSE ABATEMENT OF THIS VIOLATION IS ALREADY DOCUMENTED IN THE CASEFILE, THE EMPLOYER NEED NOT SUBMIT CERTIFICATION NOR DOCUMENTATION OF ABATEMENT OF THIS ITEM IN ACCORDANCE WITH 29 CFR 1903.19.
