29 CFR 1926.1101(k)(9)(i): The employer did not institute a training program for all employees who performed Class II asbestos operations: a) On or about June 7, 2017, at the above located worksite were employees were required to remove 12 inch floor tiles and mastic that contained 0.4% to 6.0% asbestos (Class II asbestos work) in the main north-south corridor. The employer did not institute an asbestos training program for employees. The employees removing asbestos containing floor tile were thereby exposed to the hazards associated with airborne asbestos.
