29 CFR 1910.307(c): Equipment, wiring methods, and installations of equipment in hazardous (classified) locations were not intrinsically safe, approved for the hazardous (classified) location, or safe for the hazardous (classified) location: a) At 4215 Tholozan Ave in St. Louis, MO 63116 (Flammable Storage) - On or about 12/09/2015, employees were exposed to explosion or other fire hazards where a "DeLonghi" (TYP 3107, W 1500, V 120) non-intrinsically safe air heater was located inside flammable storage room, and not approved for the hazard (classified) location, or safe for the hazardous (classified) location. NOTE: IN ADDITION TO ABATEMENT CERTIFICATION, THE EMPLOYER IS REQUIRED TO SUBMIT ABATEMENT DOCUMENTATION FOR THIS ITEM. FAILURE TO COMPLY WILL RESULT IN AN ADDITIONAL PENALTY OF $1000.00 IN ACCORDANCE WITH 29 CFR 1903.19
