29 CFR 1910.119(l)(4): Process safety information required by paragraph (d) of this section was not updated when a change covered by this paragraph resulted in a change in the process safety information. (a) In the canning building, on or about February 8, 2017 and at times prior to, the employer did not update process safety information regarding the addition of a "small canning" line that was added to the covered process in 2015 exposing employees to a chemical hazard. The employer failed to document information such as, but not limited to: materials of construction, piping and instrumentation diagrams, electrical classification, relief system design and design basis, design codes and standards employed, material and energy balances, safety systems, and compliance with recognized and generally accepted good engineering practices.
