29 CFR 1910.1000(b)(2): Employee(s) were exposed to an airborne concentration of chromic acid and chromates listed in Table Z-2 in excess of the ceiling concentration of 0.1 milligrams per cubic meter: a) Spray painting area, on or about 3/26/14: An employee spray painting parts with a chromated epoxy polyamide yellow primer was overexposed to chromic acid and chromates at 0.47 milligrams per cubic meter (mg/m3), or 4.7 times the ceiling concentration of 0.1 mg/m3. Abatement certification must be submitted for this item.
