29 CFR 1926.651(h)(1): Employees were working in excavations in which there was accumulated water, or excavations in which water was accumulating, and adequate precautions had not been taken to protect employees against the hazards posed by water accumulation: a) Work site was located at 321 NJ 440, Jersey City, NJ 07305 Employees were working in an open trench that had water accumulated in the bottom of the trench. The water was seeping out of the sidewalls as well as coming from the old pipe that was being replaced. Violation was observed on or about February 27, 2020.
