29 CFR 1910.30(a)(1): Before any employee was exposed to a fall hazard, the employer did not provide training for each employee who uses personal fall protection systems or who is required to be trained as specified elsewhere in this subpart. Employers must ensure employees are trained in the requirements of this paragraph on or before May 17, 2017: a) On or about December 20, 2018, and days afterward, employees without fall protection training were exposed to fall hazards in the regular course of their duties. Abatement documentation is required for this item in accordance with the requirements of 29 CFR 1903.19(d).
