29 CFR 1910.134(f)(1): The employer did not ensure that employees using a tight-fitting facepiece respirator passed an appropriate qualitative fit test (QLFT) or quantitative fit test (QNFT) as stated in this paragraph. a. Kremer's Guns LLC located in Celina, Ohio: The employer did not ensure an employee was fit tested before requiring the employee to wear a half face tight fitting MSA respirator while performing bimonthly cleaning operations in the shooting range. On May 21, 2015, an employee was over exposed to lead at 909 ug/m3 when cleaning the shooting range which exceeded the OSHA Permissible Exposure Limit (PEL) of 50 ug/m3 by 1818%.
