Text For Citation: 01 Item/Group: 002A Hazard:

29 CFR 1910.1200(h)(1): Employees were not provided effective information and training on hazardous chemicals in their work area at the time of their initial assignment and whenever a new hazard that the employees had not been previously trained about was introduced into their work area: (a) On and before January 8, 2019, welders were exposed to airborne contaminants in the workplace including copper fume, iron oxide fume, and particulates not otherwise regulated, total dust, had not been trained on health and physical hazards of the chemicals present in the work area prior to being exposed to hazardous chemicals at the worksite. Weldall Mfg., Inc. was previously cited for a violation of a similar occupational safety and health standard, which was contained in OSHA inspection number 1070296, citation number 1, item number 5b and was affirmed as a final order on (12/10/2015), with respect to a workplace located at 2001 S. Prairie Ave, Waukesha, WI 53189.
