29 CFR 1910.23(b)(8): Ladders were not used only for the purposes for which they were designed: a) Site - On or about 04/10/18 and at times prior thereto employees assigned to the installation of a cooling expansion tank utilized the Husky 12 ft., fiberglass (A-type) step ladder in the closed position, inclined towards the tank. In accordance with 29 CFR 1903.19(d), abatement certification is required for this violation (using the CERTIFICATION OF CORRECTIVE ACTION WORKSHEET).
