29 CFR 1910.134(f)(2): The employer did not ensure that an employee using a tight-fitting facepiece respirator was fit tested prior to initial use of the respirator, whenever a different respirator facepiece (size, style, model or make) is used, and at least annually thereafter. a) The employer failed to fit test employees prior to the required use of N95 respirators. On or about May 6, 2020, the employer did not provide fit tests prior to required use of N95 respirators. Staff donned N95 respirators when they provided care for patients with known or suspected COVID-19 while on the COVID-19 Resident Isolation floor.
