29 CFR 1926.20(b)(2): The employer did not initiate and maintain a safety program which provides for frequent and regular inspections of jobsites, materials, and equipment to be made by a competent person: a) On or about August 15, 2016, and at times prior thereto, the employer did not perform effective frequent and regular inspections of the jobsite that they controlled to identify, correct and/or eliminate hazards to which their employees and/or the employees of subcontractors were exposed. Hazards include but are not limited to, falls while performing framing activities at elevated heights without the use of fall protection, employees working out of aerial lifts without the use of fall protection, employees using pneumatic nail guns without the use of proper safety glasses, and exposure to overhead hazards without donning a hardhat. Note: Abatement certification IS required for this item.
