29 CFR 1910.266(d)(1)(vii)(A): Eye protection meeting the requirements of subpart I of Part 1910 where there is potential for eye injury due to falling or flying objects was not worn: a) At the site, on September 17, 2019, employees engaged in tree felling operations were required to operate chainsaws in the routine performance of their duties. The employer did not ensure an employee wore eye protection while utilizing a chainsaw to remove branches from a standing pine tree, exposing the employee to eye injury related hazards.
