29 CFR 1926.850(c): All electric, gas, water, steam, sewer, and other service lines were not shut off, capped, and/or otherwise controlled, outside the building line before demolition work was started. On or about July 12, 2017, the employer did not ensure that all utilities were shut off, capped, and/or otherwise controlled, outside the building before demolition work was started. The electric or water utility companies were not notified in advance. This condition exposed employees to electrical shock hazards.
