Text For Citation: 01 Item/Group: 001 Hazard:

29 CFR 1910.106(e)(2)(ii): Flammable liquids were not stored in tanks or closed containers: The employer is failing to protect employees from fire hazards associated with open flammable storage containers. This was most recently documented on January 23, 2017 at 280 Pierce Street, Omaha, NE 68108. Portable containers located in a conex box used to store gasoline and diesel fuel did not have lids to ensure they remained closed to prevent the product from spilling and the release of flammable vapors.
