29 CFR 1910.303(b)(7): Mechanical execution of work. Electric equipment shall be installed in a neat and workmanlike manner. a) Oven cleaning area by loading dock, Thermostat 64 inches from the ground was missing a faceplate exposing employees to live wires. FLUKE volt tester to show that the insulated exposed wires were live. Condition noted on 07/23/13. NOTE: THE EMPLOYER IS REQUIRED TO SUBMIT ABATEMENT CERTIFICATION FOR THIS ITEM, FAILURE TO COMPLY WILL RESULT IN AN ADDITIONAL PENALTY OF $1,000 AS PER CFR 1903.19.
